Tom N Toms Coffee - William

Tom n Toms - Sydney

Could say Most of Korean in Sydney knows this coffee shop. Well design inside and not that nosiy to have coffee and have short break between the building forest. When the customer order the coffee or some kind of drinks, they hand out the small machine that makes customer knows the order has been completed. which is better than calling customers name very loudly inside the coffee shop.

I went to this coffee shop with my friend, and had latte and fruit drink. the fruit drink was absolutely AWESOME!! if some one want to try some great drinks with rest, people better go here and try once at least! Im sure that some of you will addicted!!

Sushi Train -JASON

The sushi train is located in the middle of the city. It is right next to the event cinema on the George Street. The restaurant is quite big but the passage that people pass through is not big enough to freely pass through. Lights were good because they created good mood for me to eat. Foods were fresh and delicious. I liked sashimi and salmon sushi. However, I wanted to have a lift which is soft drink but they didn’t have one.

There are many things to enjoy near the sushi train such as event cinema and galaxy world. You can use those places after you finish eating. I really enjoyed eating sushi and play games after my meal :)

Ribs and Rumps (North Ryde)

Ribs and Rumps located at Macquarie Park has a generous amount of steak and ribs which are served with chips and salads. The ribs and rumps restaurant have different parts in the premises which allows parties to be held in isolated rooms or simply large tables to hold large groups of people dining in.

Unfortunately, prices are some what high in this restaurant but it is returned in the amount of food and it's quality. Ribs go up to $40 and steaks ranges from 30-40 depending on the size and its type. The restaurant also holds the 1kg challenge. 1kg of meat consisting of ribs and steak sided with chips and salad. One contender is able to purchase this meal for 90 and is able to win a prize of a knife set and an award of finishing the meal challenge.

Satang Thai ( Thai food ) JASON

SATANG THAI

This restaurant is located near central station and chinatown. The restaurant has two shops on the same street which are take away shop and restaurant.

Take away shop offers cheaper price but not many seats are available. Restaurant has two floors which give customers many choices for seating. The restaurant is a little bit more expensive than the take away shop of SATANG THAI but it is still cheap price for lunch and dinner. This restaurant offers many Thai dishes such as:

- Chilli Jam with Chicken, Beef, Pork or Seafood
- Pad Thai with Chicken, Beef, Pork or Seafood
- Pad Seew with Chicken, Beef, Pork or Seafood
- Tom yum goong
- Stir fried with Chicken, Beef, Pork or Seafood

When I went to this restaurant, seats for the restaurant were full and I waited for 15 to 20 minutes. I ate pad thai with chicken and Chilli Jam with seafood. Pad thai is one of the famous Thai food in the world. You can try pad thai in this restaurant, it is so delicious. Chilli jam is traditional thai sauce. It is spicy sauce with seafood and it served with rice. More foods are available in this restaurant and you should have try it!

By view and taste, the restaurant uses the highest quality ingredients and surely gives a great first impression to the customer. The restaurant has an outdoor and indoor area which creates diversity of where the customers would like to dine in. The restaurant usually holds many parties and gatherings due to its flexible terms with large groups. Steak and Chips Review

The Ranch

(corner of Herring and Epping Rd)

Steak and Chips review

The Ranch on the corner of Herring and Epping Rd have been serving Steak and Chips for the past decade. They have been famous for their succulent and juicy steak and their crispy and tender chips. The steak compliments and kind of red wine and beer while the chips are very good with tartare sauce. The Steak from the ranch has potential to rival the steak of ribs and rumps. For further information about The Ranch visit their website: http://www.theranch.com.au/

Filipino Cuisine Review

La Mesa (Dee Why)

This restaurant is famous for their authentic Filipino food resulting in succulent and mesmerizing flavors from the Philippines. There are many traditional dishes to choose from such as:
- Chicken, Beef and Pork Adobo
- Arroz valenciana
- Longanisa
- Mechado
- Kare-Kare
- Sinigang na Hipon (Shrimp soup)

                                                         Kare-Kare

                                                      Chicken Adobo

One of the problems is the distance from metropolitan Sydney. Dee Why is about a 40 min drive from Sydney metropolitan, making it a trek to get there. However the thing that separates this restaurant from the other Filipino restaurants is the authentic flavoring in the food. Also don't forget to add the great service and the wide variety of desserts that will satisfy any anyone's taste.

Korean BBQ food review

Live Restaurant
(Somewhere hidden in the alley ways of Sydney)
This restaurant is hidden within the alley ways of city along George St, near the cinemas. The restaurant is based as a traditional Korean BBQ, in which you would choose the meat and cook it on your "frying pan". This restaurant offers a variety of Korean dishes such as:
- Kimchi
- Galbi
- Bulgogi
- Dweji Bulgogi
- Jumulleok
- Dahk Galbi
- Samgyeopsal

There are a few cons with this restaurant, such as a 1 and a half hour time limit to eat and the extra payment of $15 with every unfinished dish. However the pros out weigh the cons. The food servings are practically unlimited, when paying for your meals, they don't count how many dishes you have eaten but on how many people have eaten. Another pro is that, as you cook your own food, you don't have to worry about over cooking or under cooking your food. From our point of view they have one of the best tasting meats and traditional Korean food we have ever tasted (apart from mum's cooking). This restaurant shows the true Korean cultural cuisine.
